Speech given by Herbert Hoover at the dedication of the Hoover Minthorn House museum in Newberg, Oregon. This speech was given on August 10, 1955, Hoover's 81st birthday. Hoover recalls memories of his boyhood in Newberg and life with his relatives, Dr. and Mrs. Minthorn. The closing prayer is given by Milo Ross, President of George Fox College (later George Fox University).
