About This Journal

ICCTE seeks original articles and essays of good quality, both from a scholarly and a practitioner’s point of view, with a clear focus on the relationship between Christian belief, teacher education, and related fields.

We seek to support both emerging and established scholars in navigating the peer-review process for academic publication with our journal. As an editorial team, we are both thorough in our expectations and supportive in our communication with authors and reviewers. We ask that you attend closely to submission guidelines, found on our Submission Guidelines page to avoid having a submission returned to you for adjustments prior to it being sent for review. Please adhere to APA standards outlined in the 7th edition of the APA manual.

In the past, we have issued themed calls for manuscripts related to topics such as practicing a Christian ethic of care, or shared stories of practice from teacher educators’ classrooms. If you are interested in proposing and/or helping with a themed issue to the editorial team, kindly contact the editors.
