Description

The linen scarf was made by Lillias Mosher David and her daughter Chloe Davis Douglas about the year 1812. The women spunit and wove it, doing all the actual work. Chloe Davis was the mother of John Henry Douglas. His son, Melrose Douglas, gave the linen to Effie Terrell.
