Description

Maurice Chandler served as Director of Development and Vice President for Advancement at George Fox for 19 years from 1966 until 1985. During his time he helped eliminate the college’s debt, balance the operating budget, add more that $7 million in new facilities, and increase the endowment. Some creative fundraising endeavors included the buy a seat campaign for Wood-Mar Hall and Disneyland Dinners. After Chandler left the College he held various other positions before becoming president of Havilland College. Chandler is a George Fox College graduate, class of 1960.
