Description
Gervas Carey serves as President of George Fox from 1947-1950, when he retired. Prior to this he was a Professor of the Bible at George Fox for seven years. Carey was also a Friends minister and served as Pastor of Newberg Friends Church on two separate occasions. The name of the college was changed from Pacific College to George Fox College during his time as president.
