Don Millage, a former Wall-Street Certified Public Accountant for Price Waterhouse, was Vice President for Finance from 1971 until her retired in 2001. After that he spent significant time volunteering for northwest Quakers, managing nearly 100 charitable trusts for Northwest Yearly Meeting. He also volunteered as the score-keeper keeper for George Fox basketball games, more than 300 in all. He is remembered as the financial manager who steered George Fox College out of major debt into several years of growth in the 1970's and 1980s. The life of his wife Virginia, a 1954 George Fox graduate, was commemorated with the Virginia Millage Memorial Rose Garden in 1992.
