Abstract
The importance of any movement may be determined, in part, by its claim. If these claims are true, they will demand careful attention of all concerned. The Mormon Church claims to represent "the restoration of the Gospel at Jesus Christ." The foundation tor this assertion is based on the Book of Mormon. This Book states that the Bible in its original form contained a true revelation from God. This Church maintained that the Gospel was not retained in its pure and simple form, tor following the apostles there arose an "abominable church" which deleted many plain and precious parts of the Bible.
