Don Millage

Don Millage, a former Wall-Street Certified Public Accountant for Price Waterhouse, was Vice President for Finance from 1971 until her retired in 2001. After that he spent significant time volunteering for northwest Quakers, managing nearly 100 charitable trusts for Northwest Yearly Meeting. He also volunteered as the score-keeper keeper for George Fox basketball games, more than 300 in all. He is remembered as the financial manager who steered George Fox College out of major debt into several years of growth in the 1970's and 1980s. The life of his wife Virginia, a 1954 George Fox graduate, was commemorated with the Virginia Millage Memorial Rose Garden in 1992.

Dorothy Barratt

Dorothy Ellen Barratt, class of 1948, combined her knowledge of education and theology to write curriculum materials for Quaker Christian education courses. Barratt helped build Silverton Friends Church where she co-pastored with Charlotte Macy. She was greatly involved with the Northwest Yearly Meeting as a trustee, member of the President's council and an EFI Christian Education consultant. As a Pacific College Student Dorothy Barratt served in many positions in the ASC, was a member of the Student Christian Union, sang in the choir, participated in the Women’s Athletic Association as a softball and basketball player, and was a cheerleader. She was given top alumni honors in 1990. Barratt was a member of the George Fox University Board of Trustees from 1977-1993, when she was awarded honorary trustee status. Dorothy Barratt passed away in 2011.

Dwight Macy

Dwight Macy was a rancher in Culver, Oregon. He was a significant donor to the university and had multiple children and grandchildren attend George Fox. Macy was on the Board of Trustees from 1960-1975 and again starting in 1977, later becoming an honorary trustee until his death in 2002.

Earl Craven

Earl Craven graduated from Pacific College in 1949 with a degree in Psychology and Education. As a student he sang in the choir and served as his sophomore class president before his education was interrupted by military service. When he returned he lettered in basketball, baseball and football. After obtaining a graduate education, Craven returned to George Fox in 1963 to serve as Director of Admissions, Athletic Director, and Football Coach. He resigned in 1967, but returned again from 1985-1997 to serve in admissions and continuing education. Earl Craven was inducted into the George Fox Athletics Hall of Fame in 1996.
