Abstract
The problem was to present a clear study of the nature, purposes, values and operation of the Extension Department of the Sunday School. It was the writers purpose to present the actual picture of the organization of the Extension Department and its necessity as a regular department of the Sunday School along with its relative position to the church and Sunday School. An attempt was made to present the true picture of the Extension Department by truthfully presenting some of the disadvantages as well as the advantages. Thus the problem may be stated: to find and present the true framework and organization of the Extension Department and to present this, and other f actors involved, in proof of the absolute necessity of the inclusion of such a department in the Sunday School organization.
