Description
Arthur Roberts wrote this letter in 1949 to the Pacific College Corporation after learning a name change was being considered. He had learned when reading an issue of The Crescent that the name Friendswood was under strong consideration. More information about this can be found in a later interview here (https://www.georgefox.edu/journalonline/winter16/feature/125-celebration.html).
