Abstract
This study examined the relationship between quantitative anxiety, specifically mathematics anxiety and statistics anxiety, and quantitative-course experience with gender. Social science majors from two universities were offered the opportunity to complete an online survey. Twentyone undergraduates responded. The survey contained demographic questions, 25 items from the Revised-Mathematics Anxiety Rating Scale, and 24 items from the Statistical Anxiety Scale. Data from the surveys were analyzed using linear regression and multiple regression. Data showed all students had some level of mathematics test anxiety and statistics class test anxiety. There were some students with no anxiety in the other anxiety subscales. Data from this study was not found to be statistically significant.
