Description
This photo was taken on the Lewis and Clark Exposition Grounds in Fall 1904 or Spring 1905 before the fairgrounds were completed. Members of the Newberg Band occupy the front two steps, and the members of the Newberg WOW Drill team are in the third and fourth rows. The band members left to right starting in the first row are: Ora Macy, Warren Robinson, Harry Patterson, Roy Grafe, Arthur Hodson, Thomas Cummings, O.M. Heacock (leader of the band), Harry Gardner, Thomas Duncan, and John McDonald. The others in the background are mostly residents of Newberg, Oregon.
