Description
Rolf Potts, a 1993 graduate, took a different route after graduation than most of his peers. Embracing a “vagabond” lifestyle, Potts traveled the world exploring new places and working as a travel writer. His adventures and writing quickly became well known and Potts has been honored by many awards. Potts donated his prize winnings to the George Fox Alumni Association. In 2011 he accepted a one year position as the writer in residence at the University of Pennsylvania. His work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler and the New York Times Magazine.
