Jack Willcuts is an alumnus of George Fox College, where he graduated in 1944. He remained connected with the school after his graduation and served on the Board of Trustees for nine years. In addition, he was the pastor of Reedwood Friends in Portland starting in 1971. Prior to his work as a pastor he was the superintendent of the Northwest Yearly Meeting for Friends Church for five years. He was the president of the Evangelical Friends Alliance and the editor of the Evangelical Friends magazine. All of these accomplishments earned him an honorary Doctor or Divinity from George Fox College.
