Abstract
Since the days of Calvin and Arminius there has been theological controversy among the various branches of evangelical Protestantism. The underlying cause of this struggle has been the differences of convictions concerning the sin problem that have existed between these groups, and because many of these differences have culminated in bitterness, the Kingdom of God on earth has suffered great reverses. The vital need of the hour among the various evangelical denominations is a redefining of each other's point of view in order that a harmonious relationship be established among these groups.
