Abstract
Belief in an intermediate state has never been wholly absent from religious thought. One purpose of this investigation has been to examine data concerning an intermediate state, and what its nature is. By the expression, intermediate state, is meant the realm or condition in which the souls of men exist from the time of physical death to the resurrection of their bodies.
