Wineskin, Fall 2018
Hannah Dierdorf ed.
Within this issue, you'll find the work of artist, poets, and storytellers who have done just that, who have voiced the internal and external tensions they feel, who have told of incongruities, of pastors with guns, of anger and silence, of a bronze bear erected at a Quaker university. As you read, I invite you to follow these artist into discomfort and dissonance, into the absence which we spend most of our lives trying to fill with answers.
You may notice a shift between this issue and past issues in content and design. This is an intentional transformation as we are trying to explore new ways of thinking about art and its evolving role on our campus. In response to recent conversations about the value of The Wineskin at George Fox, we've created an issue that challenges past aesthetic and ideological norms, believing that reimaging The Wineskin is necessary for its continued relevance and service to the student body. We hope that you will join us in this conversation as we envision the ways art can grieve the current state of things and proclaim hope in a future peace and flourishing.

Wineskin, Issue 1, 2016-2017
Chelsea Gritten ed.
We wanted this issue to be a true reflection of the students and the stories they so boldly shared through images and words. Our hope is that you can see part of yourself here, in a thought or feeling or idea, and that you can find a bit of beauty to hold on to.

Wineskin, Spring 2012-2013
Various
Welcome to the Wine Skin! This publication is a complication of photographs, poems, short stories, artwork, and designs from the George Fox University 2012-13 student body. As you explore, recognize the God-given talent expressed through each work. Reflect on what the Holy Spirit may be revealing to you through a fellow Christian creator.
The Wine Skin would not have been possible without the support of ASC, the Crescent Staff, and of course, the creators themselves!
Enjoy and God Bless!
