Abstract

This short but timely book was written at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2020 and continues today in 2022. It, along with the myriad of other ills facing our world, constitutes the desperate times during which Marty Grundy calls us to faithful living. She hearkens back to the early Quakers of the 1600s and their apparent knowledge of the “Truth that we are loved unconditionally and are called to live lives of integrity and love,” the antidote to “the horrible things we humans inflict on ourselves, on each other, on pretty much all living things, and on the Earth itself”.
