Abstract

The research question of this study explored how trainees’ experienced personal disclosures compared to the goals expressed by supervision theories. This study only explored the experience within a quasi-supervision environment, a practitioner-centered supervision occuring in groups within academic environments; developed from clinical supervision, it differs in environment, lack of access to client records, and lack of client oversight responsibilities, leading to a focus on practitioner-growth instead of client safety.
